As part of its women empowerment initiatives, the Fishermen Community Development Programme (FCDP) organized a tailoring training class at the FCDP Hall on 28th to 29th August 2025. The sessions were led by Mrs. Freeda Gomez and Mrs.Thrishna in which tailoring and hand embroidery were introduced as a field that provides sustainable income opportunities and empowers women to become entrepreneurs.. With relatively low initial investment, it enables women to work from home while balancing family responsibilities. The training enhances their entrepreneurial skills, boosts their confidence, and creates a reliable source of income to support their families.
