WOMEN AND YOUTH EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME

The project aims to enhance the entrepreneurial skills of 450 women and youth within 2 years through skill training and entrepreneurship development. It includes support for setting up income-generating projects, improving market accessibility, and enhancing leadership in coastal villages of Kollam. Project activities involve skill development in;
• Tailoring and Embroidery
• Computer class
• Fish and Food Processing
With a focus on creating entrepreneurs.
Entrepreneurship Development Training (EDP) and Marketing Support are provided. The project plans to train 225 women/youth annually in three skill domains. Additionally, a marketing unit will be established to create a brand, facilitate growth, ensure quality control, and explore market potential.

Marketing fest
This innovative event brings together over 200 members from various groups, fostering a dynamic platform for mutual inspiration, networking, and growth. For one day, participants will showcase their products and services, exchange ideas, and engage in meaningful interactions, empowering each other to reach new heights. This visionary initiative not only promotes marketing and sales opportunities but also nurtures a supportive community, igniting a spirit of unity and progress among its members.

The event saw an overwhelming response, with around 300 guests present to encourage and support the participants. The exhibition stalls were a major highlight, featuring an array of products and services, including:

Pickles Store: A variety of homemade pickles and condiments that added a tangy twist to the event.
Tea Snacks Store: A delightful assortment of tea-time snacks that perfectly complemented the enthusiastic atmosphere.
Briyani Store: A flavorful showcase of aromatic briyanis that left the guests craving for more.
Kappa Puttu/Kappa Fisk Curry Stall: A unique display of traditional Kerala delicacies that mesmerized the attendees with their taste and aroma.
Drinks Squash Juice Stall: A refreshing display of revitalizing drinks and squash juices that quenched the thirst of the attendees.
Variety of Soup Stall: A warm and comforting display of delicious soups that nourished both body and soul.
These stalls not only showcased the entrepreneurial spirit of the participants but also provided a platform for them to connect with potential customers and expand their business horizons.
