Summer Fun and Learning: Summer Camp

The Fishermen Community Development Program (FCDP) has launched a summer camp for children, focusing on their overall development and making the summer season more enjoyable. The event was presided over by Mrs. Agnes John, Chairperson of FCDP, and featured a welcome address by Sr. Mary K, Assistant Director of TMS. The camp was inaugurated by Mr. Benny A, Headmaster of Infant Jesus L.P. School, Thop, through a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony. The ceremony was attended by notable guests, including Fr. Jithin Sebastian, Director of FCDP-TMS, Deacon Jerin Jose, and Mrs. Greta Raju, Executive Manager of FCDP. Designed for children in grades 7-10, the camp offers a range of activities, including English and math classes to enhance academic skills, as well as craft, dance, and drawing classes to foster creativity and self-expression. By providing a fun and engaging environment, the camp aims to support the holistic development of children, helping them learn, grow, and develop their skills.
