Environmental Conservation Efforts with Cleaning Drive and Tree Plantation

As part of World Environment Day on June 5, FCDP, in collaboration with St. Stephen's Church Thope, Kollam Corporation, and Pallithottam Kudumbasree Unit, organized a cleaning drive and tree plantation initiative. The event aimed to promote environmental conservation and beautification in the community. The cleaning drive covered both sides of the road from the FCDP office to Infant Jesus School, where saplings and trees were planted. Kollam MLA Mr. Mukesh, who attended as the chief guest, inaugurated the event by planting tree saplings. The initiative also extended to nearby areas, including Thope Church and Kodimaram, which were thoroughly cleaned. This activity underscores the importance of protecting the environment and promoting sustainable practices. By spreading awareness about nature conservation, FCDP aims to inspire thoughtful actions that will help give a healthy earth to future generations and combat climate change.
