Under the leadership of FCDP, and in collaboration with the Don Bosco Children’s Forum, Don Bosco Youth Forum, and Don Bosco Youth Centre, the DB Vibe programme was organized in connection with Children’s Day. The programme began at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 29, at Don Bosco Boys Home, Mundakkal. The event was inaugurated by Kumari Ananya S. Subhash, winner of the Ujjwala Balya Award 2023–24 and record holder in the Asia Book of Records, India Book of Records, and International Book of World Records. The programme commenced with a prayer, followed by a welcome session presided over by Ms. Agnes John, Chairperson of FCDP. Rev. Fr. Saji Elampasheril, Director of FCDP, delivered the introductory address, and Rev. Fr. Stephen Mukkatil, Rector of Don Bosco Institution, Kollam, gave the message of love and encouragement. The main attraction of DB Vibe was the series of chance games. Around eleven games were conducted at different venues, with children participating enthusiastically and in a festive spirit. In joint collaboration with the All Kerala Sports Goods Dealers Association (AKSDA), Manorama, and Federal Bank, activities such as kite flying and a penalty shoot-out were organized for children as part of the campaign against drug abuse. The penalty shoot-out was inaugurated with a football kick-off by Mr. Vinod Kumar, Sub-Inspector of Police, Narcotic Cell, Kollam. Mr. Jose Paul, State Coordinator of AKSDA, and Mr. Ashimsh, District President of AKSDA, were also present at the programme
