Beginning of Organic Farming

Under the initiative of FCDP, as part of the We-LivE Project, organic farming was launched in the Pallithottam area on 26/09/2025. Giving importance to organic farming, the training session was led by Mr. Joy (Retired Assistant Agricultural Officer). The class explained how to prepare grow bags and the basic aspects to be taken care of while farming. Around 25 women participated in the session. Beneficiaries were also provided with grow bags and coir pith. Organic vegetable cultivation not only ensures safe food for human health but also helps keep the soil and water free from pollution, while opening ways for farmers to earn income at a low cost
