Training programme for the volunteers of Theeradesha Lahari Vimukta Vanitha Samithi

To curb rising alcohol and drug use along the coastal area of Kollam, Fishermen Community Development Program and Theeradesha Mahila Society, organized one day training programme for the volunteers of Theeradesha Lahari Vimukta Vanitha Samithi, at FCDP Hall. The training session was led by Mr. J. Thajudheenkutty (Assistant Commissioner of Excise, Kollam). He spoke about the increasing use of intoxicating substances in Kerala and its adverse effects and invited women as influencing majority to be a part of the ongoing activities to free the coastal area of drugs and alcohol abuse.
