Intern with FCDP

FCDP believes in empowering fisher folk through developments in the sectors of education, employment, social and economic status, and living standards. Our interns come from various professional and educational backgrounds contributing their knowledge and capabilities in the development of the community. Interns are provided ample support and opportunities to carry out their field requirements.

• Provide an opportunity to interns, to put into practice and deepen their knowledge through practical experience in the community
• Provide the interns the platform to develop a more grounded understanding of the fishermen community and the challenges faced by people here.
• Give interns an opportunity to learn advocacy, researching, campaigning, and networking skills
• Enable them to transform into committed professionals

This is an intensive engagement and no stipend is offered. The incidental costs pertaining to the assignment may be covered.
