Don Bosco Tailoring and Fashion Designing Centre


Don Bosco Tailoring and Fashion designing centre has been started for providing training to 90 women from the coastal areas in a year. Considering the exponential growth of the clothing industry and interest of women in tailoring and fashion, it has become a major employment option for women, especially of the fisher folk. The centre offers women training in basic machine operations, cutting and stitching of fabrics to make kids wear, ladies wear, gents wear and also the basics of hand embroidery and machine embroidery.


Objectives:
  • To provide tailoring training to 90 women in a year.
  • To skill women to become economically independent.
  • To substitute the family income through tailoring and fashion designing.
