Don Bosco Youth Forum celebrated Independence Day, International Youth Day, and DBYF Anniversary – 16 August 2022

Don Bosco Youth Forum celebrated its 75th Independence Day along with International Youth Day and DBYF Anniversary Day. The celebrations started on Saturday 13/08/2022 at noon at FCDP Hall with an official function inaugurated by Excise Commissioner Shri V Rajesh. FCDP Chairperson Smt. Agnes John presided over the function and M. S. President Smt.Veronica Antony and spoke with greetings. Likewise, Sri. Emmanuel Esquelin from Muthakkara was honoured at the function who went viral through social media and conquered Malayalee minds with his music. After the official ceremony, the Youth Forum members shared the food packets brought from their homes and ate with each other. Afternoon events started with an introductory speech by Fr. Joby Sebastian (FCDP Director) about the one-year journey of the Don Bosco Youth Forum and representatives from each group in DBYF shared their experiences. After DBYF Coordinator Smt. Mary John along with other animators and DBYF members celebrated the first anniversary by cutting the cake. After the various artistic performances of DBYF members and DJ also performed. The program ended at 5.30 pm.
