Blood is Life Campaign

There's much talk about oxygen cylinders and hospital beds, but not so much about the supplies of the tissue that disseminates oxygen through our body: BLOOD. At this time of crisis, when social distancing is the new normal, we need to remind ourselves of the importance of solidarity and generosity.

Anticipating the shortage of blood likely to be faced by blood banks due to vaccination of people above 18, Don Bosco Team Covid conducted a Blood Donation Drive in collaboration with the district hospital, Kollam and other hospitals in Kollam. On 20th May, the campaign was inaugurated with six volunteers donating blood at the District Hospital, Kollam.
