KISMAT Organized De-addiction program for migrant workers

KISMAT kollam MHD in collaboration with Excise Department and Vimukthi mission organised a De- addiction program for migrants from KISMAT village one and two. The initiative is a part of the new sustainability mode of the project to strengthen the KISMAT villages in the district. Around 60 migrants from two KISMAT villages participated in the programme.The event was held in FCDP hall, Pallithottam. Fr. Joby Sebastian (District Director KISMAT) welcomed the guests. Mr. N.Tomy (Ward Councillor) inaugurated the function. Mr. Jaykrishnan (Vimukthi Mission coodinator) from Excise Department conducted the class on de-addiction and explained about the rules and punishment for offences on usage of drugs. Mr. Alan Samuel Placid (KISMAT District coordinator kollam ) took a session on the need stay away from drug related offences. Mr. Jitto Johnny (KISMAT District Coordinator Alappuzha) performed action song and conducted an interactive session.
