Substance Abuse, 7th August 2014

Substance Abuse means the hazardous use of psychoactive substances such as alcohol and illicit drugs. It is brought about by chaotic home environment, ineffective parenting, poor social skills, association with a deviant peer group and poor school performance. In the session, he gave a clear idea bout drug abuse, Alcohol abuse etc. For more awareness he used a Presentation to the students to get the facts on drug abuse and addiction symptoms, causes, treatment centers (rehab), physical and psychological effects, types of drugs, and statistics.etc. The programme was to share the goal of achieving a large-scale, transformation and lasting impact that saves and improves people’s lives.
