Kits for Transgenders

If you search for the Malayalam of 'transgender' you won't be able to find a respectable term. They are still considered an outcast, even in our language.

The second wave of the pandemic was an unexpected blow for the entire population which include those whom we call the third gender and who are often neglected. As a part of our Covid relief and prevention activities under the banner of Don Bosco Team Covid hundred relief kits containing essential grocery items were provided for the transgender community under the project love land art society (LAS) implemented by KSACS (Kerala state AIDS control society) at vellayattambalam, Kollam. The representatives of the transgender community thanked FCDP, TMS, BREADS and Team Covid for the generous intervention at this time of stress and need.
