DB Tech Kollam

It’s a pleasure to inform that DB Tech; Kollam inaugurated its VIII batch on 21 February 2015. It was an occasion, where parents of the current batch students and pervious batches were also invited to grace the occasion. Around 100 members (including trainees) attended the function. Ms. Shahira (Trainer – Retail) welcomed the guests .The Chief Guest invited was Smt. Honey Benchamin (Mayor, Kollam) .The program started with a welcome song dedicated to the esteemed guests after that lighting of lamp by Smt. Honey Benchamin (Mayor, Kollam) with other invited guests .

The Chief Guest, Smt. Honey Benchamin, spoke of the enormous help that is rendered to the youngsters all over the India and appreciated the staff for their dedication towards the welfare of the DB Tech students. The certificate distribution and bag distribution also done by the Mayor. Fr. Sunny Uppan (Center in Charge) also addressed the participants and explained the purpose of this training. He briefed upon the process of training and what this training expects from the students. He even highlighted the societal change to which this program is connected. Fr. Thomas Mekkadan (Rector, Don Bosco) provided felicitation. Godwin Manuel (co-ordinator, Child Line) were also presented at the function, provided felicitation. Some of the students even shared their experience and talked about the fruitful training program.

Some previous students along with their employers came to the centre and shared their success story to the audience. The parents were thrilled to attend such a gathering, they were happy with the fact that their children will not only learn skills to earn but will also get moral education, life skills and lot of motivation & orientation for life. They appreciated the DB Tech and its work. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Smitha. RR (Trainer – BPO), followed with DB tech students performed various cultural activities.
